Recorded by Richard Hodson (AKA Odd Experience) this is a beautifully crafted and produced CD of brand new recordings. A couple of old LAVA favourites have been re-recorded in glittering newversions; Red Sands has been recorded in its entirety for the first time; and a batch of quality new tunes make this a really outstanding disc.

Featuring the band with their usual line-up of guitars, Bass, and percussion, they also add Melodica, Harmonicas, Organ, Jaws Harp, Mandolin and their dynamic vocalising. There's also some authentic Spanish cicadas, water, street vendors of Sevilla, and a few surprises.

Some of the tracks were recorded live (ie playing it live but not actually in front of an audience) to capture the true, exciting spontaneity of the band. Throughout the album the vibe is one of real musicians playing together like they truly inhabit the music - which, of course, they do.
